Quantitative Reasoning in GRE

Quantitative reasoning in Graduate Record Examination(GRE) tests students ability to solve basic math skills, elementary mathematical concepts, solve problems with quantitative methods. The concepts tested are on Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Data Analysis.

It tests four types of questions:
  • Comparison questions 
  • Multiple Choice questions with one answer
  • Multiple Choice questions with multiple answers
  • Numeric Entry Questions
Most Indian Engineering graduates won't be facing any difficulty in scoring quantitative reasoning section. Students initially need to understand properly the basic concepts such as mean, mode, median in algebra, equations etc.. Students can increase the GRE score by understanding basic quant skills and practicing them.
