Analytical writing ability checks students critical thinking skill, analytical skills and ability to articulate their ideas and present them. Students need to write two set of 30-minute essays:
- Analyze an Issue - develop an argument with reasons and examples to support your views
- Analyze an Argument - consider the logical soundness of the argument rather than agree or disagree with the position it presents
