Verbal Reasoning – The purpose of verbal reasoning section is to assess your
comprehension of written material and ability to evaluate it. It also tests
your ability to analyze sentence structure and relationship between words and
concepts. It has three types of multiple choice questions: Reading
Comprehension, Text Completion, and Sentence Equivalence. The total score of verbal reasoning section
ranges from 130 -170
Quantitative reasoning – It tests your problem solving skills on basic algebra, arithmetic,
geometry and data analysis. The total score of Quantitative reasoning section
ranges from 130 -170
Analytical
Writing Ability – It assess students critical thinking and analytical writing
skills, i.e. ability to articulate and support complex ideas clearly and
effectively. The score for AWA is awarded on the scale of 0-6.
